I just got around to listening to Cardinal Dolan's Homily from June 17, 2012 (Father's Day).  In the Homily, the Cardinal makes some great references to items we address is History of Salvation I and II.

Summer Reading Recommendations

Also, during the last week of school, I recommended three books for possible summer reading, they were:

2) Between Heaven and Mirth by James Martin, SJ
3) My Life with the Saints by James Martin, SJ

Fr. Robert Barron and a Summer Reading Recommendation


Fr. Robert Barron is the founder of Word on Fire, a Catholic evangelist organization, a Catholic author and the newly appointed Rector/President of Mundelein Seminary/University of Saint Mary of the Lake in Chicago.

He wrote an excellent piece the other day entitled Why it's okay to be against heresy and for imposing one's will on others.  Check it out here
