Volunteers needed for 3C Week at Meribah

Any student interested in helping out at Meribah during 3C Week (August 27 - 31) should contact Mr. Foley by e-mail at mfoley@chaminade.org.

Volunteers meet at 8:00 a.m. and are bused to Meribah -- they return to Chaminade by 3:30pm (usually after a little swimming).

The primary responsibility of the Meribah volunteers is the preparation of the lunch each day for the new freshmen (BBQ hot dogs).  Assistance is also needed during the prayer services.

Attire for the week is neat and casual.  Shorts and a t-shirt are acceptable.

Brian Barr with the music done by Anthony Muhs, and Eucharistic Adoration led by the Ike Ndolo Band.  There was also time for reconciliation, food, and a little frisbee.

Update: Down to the Wire - A Great Success (now with video)

Wednesday night (4/18), about 400 freshmen and 40 faculty members attended Down to the Wire.

The atmosphere, spirit, and energy were outstanding.  For many in attendance the highlight was 400+ people quietly and reverently adoring the Eucharist…pretty inspiring.

Here is a 3 minute highlight video from the event:

Here is a short photo slide show from the event (I think it only works on computers and iPads):

Here is the best picture from the event (Thanks Al Ferrante '14):
